New Stop Light Feature
BMW recently held its NextGen show in Munich, where the carmaker made several key announcements about both brand strategy and product innovations – including a brand new electric car. First off, BMW has confirmed that it will reach the target it has set out to produce 25 “electrified” vehicles by 2023, which actually accomplishes the goal two years earlier than its original target.
Along the way,
BMW says it will increase electric sales by 30% each year between now and 2025.
But let’s get to the really exciting stuff – the tech, starting with BMW’s newest concept vehicle, the Vision M Next. This plug-in hybrid features 600 horsepower and reaches a max speed of 186 miles an hour. It can go zero to 60 in about three seconds but offers major efficiency benefits as well, like a pure electric range of 62 miles.
