Quality System Approval to AS9100 rev D & ISO 2015

This is our second audit to the latest revisions and we are realizing the benefits. We are utilizing the system as a way to manage the company rather then as something we do just to meet the requirements of the industry.

Our culture is permeating with continuous improvement. We focus on building repetitive processes. We have encouraged employees at all levels to be involved with the quality system and engage in the development of our processes.

We strive to run as a flat organization, where employees closest to the work have authority to make decisions. We think ahead to avoid risk but have a plan to handle it, if it does happen.  
 
New Extrusion Machine Announcement

We would like to announce S&H has installed a new extruder. It’s a Berstorff 3.5” Cold Feed Silicone Extruder. We had previously been sharing production-time with our material-prep extruder.

As business continued to grow, we decided it was time to buy a dedicated machine. With this new machine we’re able to provide quicker delivery to our customers. We’re able to better schedule, run more efficiently (reduce cost) and reduce our lead time.
